We are looking to add some additional rabbit growers. Grower is to call Dean Goforth toll free 877 892 6430. Tell Dean the numbers you will have and he will set up an appointment time to deliver the rabbits to us. Please use the following rules:

• We will buy from independent farmers. A representative of Blue Chip Farms, Inc. will visit each farm several times a year. This to give you help to be more profitable. We offer 32 years making a full time living plus we have over 3000 information files in our computer data base. You must make money from your rabbits for us to need you.

• Rabbits will be bought from people with appointment only. Rabbits will be purchased to fill some special orders.
•  
• Your live rabbits will be weighted and you will be paid in cash for them.
•  
• All rabbits must be healthy. We buy Californians, Smuts, and NZW , fryers or roasters. No colored rabbits bought.
•  
• Medicated rabbits must follow withdrawal requirements.
•  
• We process 52 weeks a year. It is suggested you set up an appointment as soon as your fryers start reaching 4 lbs. This will give you 2 to 3 weeks to accumulate more to deliver.
•  
• No minimum numbers are required. We do ask you to have plans to increase to have at least 25 breeding does. Your selling cost will be too high if not.
•  
• We start processing each week and continue until finished.
•  
• This is year #32 for us selling rabbits. Ours has been a year around market in past 32 years. If anyone has a market for rabbit meat we will be on top of the list.

• Prices paid, size, and numbers.: Fryers 4 lb to 5 3/4 lbs. Cals, Smuts, NZW, $1.57 per pound live weight. Roaster 5.8 lbs and over, Cals, Smuts, NZW, $1.00 lb live weight. Fryers and roasters can be added together to make total number of rabbits.

• We do not sell feed or supplies. At times we may have cages to sell.

• You do not need a contract to sell to us.
